If your ceremony in York doesn’t need to be legal (i.e. you have already done the legal part elsewhere) I can arrange for a wedding celebrant to create a truly bespoke wedding ceremony for you outside in York.

How does it work?
Book your ceremony with York Register Office
If you are wanting a legal wedding ceremony, you will need to book this through York Register Office. If you would like input about the best times of day, year, or days of the week to book your ceremony, or any other questions about this part, please feel free to get in touch to ask and I will be able to offer my insight.
Contact us to book your elopement package
Once you have your ceremony booked, get in touch with me to tell me the date and I will check the availability of my suppliers. I’ll then put together a list of all your available suppliers and I will invite you to pay the deposit.
After you book
Once I receive your deposit, you will be sent a welcome pack in the post. This will contain all the information you need – including an introduction to each of your wedding suppliers and a timeline for what happens next.
Meet your experienced, local, York wedding elopement suppliers
As it gets closer to the wedding date, each of your suppliers (including your wedding coordinator) will be in touch with you to go over the specific details and to get to know you both a bit better. By the day of your wedding, you and all your suppliers will know exactly what is going to happen on the day, so you can relax and enjoy your wedding without having the stress of co-ordinating everyone.
What happens on the big day
Once everything has been planned, you will arrive in your accommodation the evening before your wedding. You will be free to explore the city of York in your leisure this evening. The next morning your florist will deliver your flowers, and your make up artist will come and do your hair and make-up. Your photographer will arrive at your apartment and take you to the ceremony.
You may have some pre-wedding photos in York before the ceremony (this will be decide in advance depending on your ceremony time and preference) and then you’ll meet your second witness (the photographer will also be a witness) before you go into York Registry Office.
After your ceremony, your photographer will take you on a personalised tour of the city of York for some more photos, before taking you to your chosen restaurant in time for your reservation (which we will have made for you).
You will then be free to enjoy your meal and explore York, or plan your own activities before returning to your accommodation on the night of your wedding.

After messaging them all for a preliminary date, you then have to go back to the registry office to actually book, and hope that no suppliers have been booked up in the meantime.
